Honda SENSINGD30 is a suite of driving features that support and enhance your driving senses to help keep you safer on the road.
HIGH-BEAM SUPPORT SYSTEM (HSS)
Once, it was a courtesy to dim your high-beam headlights as other vehicles approached. Now your car does it for you. Thanks to the Accord’s high-tech image sensor, you can stop worrying and keep your focus on the road.
PARKING SENSOR
Slip in or out of tight spots with ease thanks to the Accord's front and rear parking sensors. With both a visual and audible alert, they'll let you know how much space exists between you and the nearest object.
VEHICLE STABILITY ASSIST (VSA)
This technology helps keep the Accord on course in adverse driving conditions by detecting, then mitigating, potential understeer or oversteer. When necessary, VSA automatically reduces engine power and manages brake pressure to individual wheels to help regain control.
EMERGENCY STOP SIGNAL (ESS)
If an emergency situation forces you to brake heavily, drivers behind you need as much warning as possible. Emergency Stop Signal does just that, automatically flashing the hazard lights in the event of hard braking to reduce the chance of a rear-end collision.
SIX AIRBAGS
The clever Honda i-SRS driver airbag system inflates at different rates depending on crash severity, seatbelt usage and a host of other factors to keep you safe behind the wheel. Dual front, side and full-length curtain airbags are standard.
TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)
Be alerted long before it becomes an issue. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System keeps track of the pressure in all four tyres and reports to you if one is getting low.
HILL START ASSIST (HSA)
Hill Start Assist prevents ‘roll back’ when starting on an incline. The system controls brake pressure, keeping the car stationary for a moment after you release the brake pedal.
